Terrible Company to Keep

The state of Tennessee tried to kill a women but was unsuccessful. The injection didn't "work." And now the Secretary of Defense has announced that another state's implementation of a death sentence is going to be live streamed. The death penalty is by nature barbaric. Live streaming of it is beyond barbaric. What are we becoming as a nation? Jesus was killed by the state's imposition of the death penalty. The Romans were so barbaric that they made their killing a public spectacle. I guess we are trying to keep up with the Romans. Terrible company to keep.
