When Fear Becomes Anger
The psychologists tell us that humans have a tendency to not deal with ourselves and our issues directly but to focus them on other people or other realities.
They call this behavior "projection." Anger is often a projected reality. The dog or the spouse gets the anger that, truthfully, should be directed at the self. It seems to me that Anthony Fauci is now the victim of projected anger. A man who may be responsible for many of us still being alive has become a demonic figure. It's tragic. There's a lot of anger out there. COVID made us aware of our limits, unveiled our vulnerabilities, revealed how truly free we aren't. Instead of telling the truth about these realities, we had to locate blame. Sorry, Tony, that you have to pay the price for our inability to face life and tell the truth about it.
