What is reality?

 Reality is diverse, multi-faceted, universal in character. Living as if it is not is a recipe for chaos, stinginess, small mindedness, and war. The economy today is by nature global. While I am a big supporter of buying locally, I am not a fan of thinking that the task is to cut us off from the world. Tariffs generally are an example of trying to pretend that we aren't in this together. The great story out of Genesis that speaks of men and women being created out of each other is a call, in my opinion, to recognize that everybody is our relative. It's a call to live into reality--our deep connectedness. To do otherwise is to deny reality, to live a lie.
