Interesting stuff to ponder

James Kimmel in "The Science of Revenge" reveals studies that have been done which demonstrate that male and female brains react differently to observing pain being inflicted on people.

One aspect of that difference has to do with the pleasure and craving center of the brain. Men's brains are activated by watching someone being punished more than are women's brains. In other words, men's brains get more of a high from violence imposed than do women's brains. Perhaps this explains why violent video games are more fascinating to men and why men are more likely to commit violent crimes. Interesting stuff to ponder.
